NIDA INFO NIGHT 2013  |  Thurs 22 August, 6pm  |  215 Anzac Pde, Kensington

NIDA Info Night is a special opportunity for anyone curious about what it’s like to be a student at NIDA to get inside access to Australia’s leading dramatic arts institute and find out first-hand about the school’s elite undergraduate courses, world-class training facilities and graduate success stories.

Having launched the careers of some of the country’s greatest actors, directors, designers, theatre technicians and arts industry leaders – such as Cate Blanchett, John Bell, Mel Gibson, Baz Luhrmann, Richard Roxburgh, Catherine Martin and Sam Worthington – the National Institute of Dramatic Art continues to pave the way for Australia’s next generation of creative talent.

NIDA Info Night provides prospective students and their families, friends, teachers and careers advisors with detailed information about NIDA’s elite Bachelor of Dramatic Art program, which offers courses in the specialist discipline areas of Acting, Music Theatre, Costume, Design, Production, Properties (‘Props’) and Staging.

NIDA’s academic staff will give presentations about the application and audition/interview processes, course structure and content, NIDA’s unique approach to education and training, the NIDA student experience and graduate opportunities, and past students will share insights into their experiences training at NIDA and working in the industry. Staff and graduates will also be available one-on-one on the evening to answer questions.

NIDA Info Night begins at 6pm on Thursday 22 August, at NIDA in Kensington.

Those who can’t attend in person can view the presentations and submit questions online via a live webcast, which will also be available to stream after the event.
