HOT PERFORMANCE TIP #5
SCRIPT PREPARATION: KNOW YOUR LINES
•How well do you know your lines? Learn your lines inside and out, backwards and forwards. Then ignore them for at least a day prior to the audition. This step helps you keep the dialog fresh on the day of the audition. TRUST that you know your lines. When you perform at the audition you will sound authentic as though you are having a real conversation right then and there.
Many actors let their nerves take over and lose their trust. DON’T BE ONE OF THEM! Trusting your instincts comes with confidence. The more you perform, the stronger your confidence grows and the quicker you develop trust. This is one of the most important steps in acting. TRUST YOURSELF!
